Happy Birthday Dlisted!
It's Dlisted's fourth birthday today!

Breaking the Cute-O-Meter
I heard that Zooey Deschanel and Death Cab for Cutie's Ben Gibbard are engaged, and immediately decided that they are the best couple ever. Just this side of nauseatingly indie-cute. In fact, I went in search of photos of them together and could only find this not-great shot...
... and I'm certain that it's because one camera lens could not handle their awesomeness all at once. These two are officially my favorite couple in the Universe.
In my search for photos I discovered that apparently this pairing is a big huge hairy deal to the IndieKids(tm) and there's some fucking controversy about it or whatever. Hello, how are these two adorables together anything but perfect? I'm not a particular fan of either of them - though Death Cab has some of the sweetest, catchiest shit going (I think it's scientifically engineered to be completely appealing or something) so I don't have any kind of emotional stake in the matter. It's just SO EFFING CUTE I can't stand it! You know they're going to have a totally adorable indie-kid wedding and I can't wait to see the pics.
Now I'm all in a good mood and shit. Damn! Okay, I'll think about that time I was on a Song flight and wanted to listen to some music so I found a Death Cab album on the TV thingy, and was psyched because I'd liked the one song I'd heard, but it was an older album and there was NO FUCKING BEAT ANYWHERE. It was that atmospheric pussy indie crap that I try hard to like, because I have friends who like it, but it's just so snooze-inducing. Give me some DRUMS for god's sake.
Okay, I'm back to being nice and grumpy now. Hooray!
